"Like Prokofiev nearly a century ago, Sibelman has brought new life to traditional forms... here is the romantic revival: passionate, romantic, heart-felt."

Jessica Sibelman and The New York Chamber Virtuosi* have been invited to play at Carnegie Hall in October of 2010!

The performance is part of a Charity Concert for the organization Best Buddies, which helps kids and adults with mental disabilities.

The program features the NYCV in the “Marriage of Figaro” overture by Mozart, Elaine Kwon performing the Rubenstein Piano Concerto, and Enrique Pina, tenor, singing “E Lucevan le Stelle” from Puccini’s Tosca. There will also be a celebrity emcee as well as other special guests for the evening.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!  You can make a tax-deductible contribution for this amazing group of musicians for a great cause!  The money raised will be used as a small stipend for these young musicians. If we raise more than the requested amount, it will be split between the NYCV (for future programming), and Best Buddies.
